Robin graduated from Sheffield University in 1984 and joined the Bury St Edmunds office of Grant Thornton. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1988, Robin developed an interest in both tax and financial planning work. He qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1991, moving onto advanced qualifications in financial planning.
His work range includes tax and financial planning advice to individuals, whilst factoring in their business circumstances. This includes advising both private clients and owner managers; he has particular experience in tax and financial planning for the agricultural sector. His work also extends to trusts and estate planning.
Robin is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to provide advice. Robin has a long association with many of his clients and colleagues.
His aim is to build on this, providing advice to both existing and new clients of the firm. Robin is married with two children and lives near Bury St Edmunds.
