Sam Thrower

I’m Samantha Thrower, a Tax Manager at Churchgates. I have over 15 years experience in Tax and have been working at Churchgates since it was first created back in 2011, following the management buyout from Grant Thornton.

I specialise in Trusts and Estates Tax and qualified as a full STEP member in 2016. I provide tax advice on various aspects, predominately Estate Planning. I am also responsible for overseeing compliance work for Trusts, Estates and individuals, which includes accounts, Tax Returns and Inheritance Tax Returns.

I have three children, two of which are young, so keep me very busy! I love spending time with my family, whether it’s travelling or simply at home in the garden. When I wasn’t changing nappies, I used to enjoy sketching and painting portraits, something which I hope to resume…one day.
