My name is Penny Thompson, and I am Operations Director at Churchgates. I have a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies (Psychology & Philosophy) and a first class BSc honours in Applied Accountancy. In my earlier career, I qualified as an HR professional (CIPD) and have since qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).
Having worked with clients to provide statutory accounts, tax returns and advice on their personal finances, businesses and trusts for over 10 years, I have now largely moved away from client work and focus on the operations of the business, including HR and marketing. My main work goal is to create a happy, well functioning, creative environment in which people can be the best they can be, gaining ultimate satisfaction in their role and pulling together to forge a safe, supportive and respectful community.
