Matthew Earll

I’m Matthew Earll, a Paraplanner in Churchgates’ Financial Planning team. I joined the firm in July 2026, having previously worked in a similar role for over six years at another IFA based in Bury St Edmunds.

I completed the CII’s Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in July 2022 and have gone on to complete Certificates in Discretionary Investment Management and Securities Advice and Dealing. I hope to complete the Advanced Diploma and achieve chartered status in the next few years.

I started my career with roles at Grant Thornton and Bloomberg, following completion of my BA in French and German at University College London. After a brief interlude in teaching, I returned to financial services and have gained significant experience in supporting financial advisers in delivering detailed, bespoke financial plans for a wide range of clients.

Outside of work, I am a keen rugby fan and enjoy spending time with my young family.
