Helen Billis

I’m Helen Billis and I work as a Financial Planner here at Churchgates. I started my career in tax in 1998 and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser. I moved into the world of financial planning in 2011 qualifying with the regulated diploma in financial planning and have recently completed the certificate in discretionary investment management.

I use my experience and qualifications to provide a wide range of financial advice working with clients directly, as well as supporting other advisers as a senior member of our paraplanning team. I can advise on all areas of financial planning including pensions, investments and life insurance and can use my background in tax to implement tax saving strategies as part of a financial plan. The best part of my job is devising the plan and adapting this each year with clients to ensure the best results are achieved year on year. I use lifetime cashflow modelling as part of this process. My specialisms include property held in pension schemes.

Outside of work I enjoy running and competing in long distance races. I also have two children who have both inherited my passion for travelling and exploring new places.
