Fraser joined Churchgates as a senior solicitor in the Legal department in December 2016 having previously worked for another solicitors’ firm based in Bury. He has over 40 years’ experience in the legal profession and is a member of the Law society. His experience mostly involves commercial property, both freehold and leasehold, including: offices, factories, warehouses, new buildings and conversions. Fraser has been involved with many buildings on Cambridge Science Park and other science parks, including several substantial new buildings and he specialises in resolving complex titles and property issues that others have found impossible to resolve.
He also specialises in dealing with rights of easement for high voltage underground cables for massive offshore wind projects. His insights bring novel solutions and he has experience dealing with regulators at the highest level. His work in this area led him to being invited to the Norwegian Embassy to celebrate the commissioning of the first wind farm!
Outside of work, Fraser’s interests include motorsports, photography, skiing, leisure cycling, hiking, travel and science. He also has a special interest in US civil war history and US politics.
